What we check
Unreliable VAT payer status
If you pay a supplier flagged as an unreliable VAT payer, you can be held liable for its unpaid VAT.
Registered bank accounts
Paying to an account not published in the VAT register can also make you liable for the supplier's VAT.
Insolvency
A new insolvency case is an early warning that deliveries, warranties or prepayments may be at risk.
Business register (ARES)
Changes of name, address, liquidation or dissolution can mean you are dealing with a different or ending company.

FAQ
Where does the data come from?
Only from official public registers: ARES (the Czech business register), the VAT register of the Financial Administration (mojedane.gov.cz) and ISIR (the insolvency register). We report what they say at the time we check; we are not a government service and this is not tax advice.
How do I cancel?
Reply to any of our emails or write to nick@silverbucket.net and we cancel your paid plan; you go back to the free plan. To stop all emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email.
What do you do with my data?
We store your email address and your supplier list only to run the checks and send you alerts. No tracking cookies and no ads. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number. See the Privacy Policy.
Are the alerts only in English?
Alerts are written in English with the Czech wording alongside, so you can forward them to a Czech accountant.
